ROOKIE

The Rookie is the simplest design we carry; it is also known as a “Taco Style” holster. Since 90% of the population is right handed, our holsters are automatically set for a right hand draw. But you left hander’s don’t sweat it, we manufacture our holster’s with the ability to change from a right hand to left hand with simply taking off the belt clip and drilling 2, ¼ holes on the left side. Then remount the belt clip to the left side. Black is the standard color for all holsters. Custom colors and graphics are available for an additional fee. Please allow 2 -3 weeks for any holster with custom graphics.

CONVERT TUCKABLE

The Convert Tuckable gives you the ability to tuck your shirt between your pants and your holster. Since 90% of the population is right handed, our holsters are automatically set for a right hand draw. But you left hander’s don’t sweat it, we manufacture our holster’s with the ability to change from a right hand to left hand with simply taking off the belt clip and moving it to the other side and replacing the screws. Black is the standard color for all holsters. Custom colors and graphics are available for an additional fee. Please allow 2 -3 weeks for any holster with custom graphics.

I personally like the Convert Tuckable, so if I am in a meeting, I need to tuck in my shirt, or in church no one will ever know I have a pistol that is concealed.

If you choose a sweat guard design, we do not recommend you change your draw from right to left hand. The sweat guard would be on the wrong side. When you order from one of our distributor’s please specify to them the side you want your draw position.

UNDERCOVER

The clip used on the Undercover, allows the user not to use a belt. This will clip securely onto sweats, athletic shorts, and scrubs. It can also be used on clothing with a belt. A shirt can also be tucked between the holster and the clip. Black is the standard color for all holsters. Custom colors and graphics are available for an additional fee. Please allow 2 -3 weeks for any holster with custom graphics.

When you order from one of our distributor’s please specify to them the side you want your draw position.

We manufacture our holsters with 0.080 thickness, KYDEX, BOLTARON or HOLSTEX material.

Sweat Guards

You may ask what is the sweat guard that I have been reading about. A sweat guard is an extended part of the Kydex holster that extends to the butt of the pistol. This prevents several things, your skin does not get pinched when placing the pistol in the holster and it prevents the steel of the pistol from touching your skin.

FAQ

Test fit your new holster in a safe environment with an unloaded firearm before using the holster.

Keep your finger off the trigger at all times.

All holsters are tested for fit prior to packaging.

Kydex vs. leather?
Kydex is waterproof, scratch resistant, lots of different colors and patterns to choose from and easy to maintain- just soap and warm water.

Would Kydex wear finish of my gun?
Just like anything else including leather, yes, it will eventually cause some wear on your firearm.

Can I leave my holster in the car?
Yes you can. Keep in mind that Kydex is plastic, prolonged heat will eventually deform any plastic holster.

How about maintenance?
Before each use, inspect the condition of the holster, belt clip(s) and hardware for any signs of damage or loose screws. Damaged parts and materials could lead to a potential serious injury. Do not use the holster at this point.

Can I modify my holster?
Do not modify your holster in any way, shape or form, this will void the warranty (in bold on purpose). Doing so could result in serious injury.

Thin Blue Line Tactical began in 2016. As a police officer for over 20 years, I have carried several different weapons, either on or off duty. Over the years, I have had to purchase a bunch of different holsters for the various guns. They have been uncomfortable, ranging from an ankle holster, belly band holster, shoulder holster, paddle holster. Seriously guys and gals, I had a box full of holsters in the closet that I hated and spent a lot of money on.

Until Kydex came out, I owned leather holsters, that collect sweat and dirt. They don’t hold their shape and after a while your weapon moves all over the place. The leather holds moisture and in turn transfers that moisture to your weapon.

Then I used the nylon style of holster. Again, doesn’t hold your weapon securely, retains moisture and dirt. How many times has your weapon fallen out of the holster when you’re in the restroom? Let’s be honest, it does!

So, I wanted to design a holster that was cheap enough for the average gun owner. With over 20 years of police work and wearing a holster for more than 8-12 hours a day, I wanted a comfortable holster, that should last a lifetime. Hence why, I started Thin Blue Line Tactical.
