Our instructors attend updated training to stay current and pass on the best knowledge to our students.
About Us
We are a small company with highly qualified instructors. The owner retired as a Master Peace Officer with 27 years of experience. We have trained police officers on how to shoot correctly and safely, we can do the same for you. We offer training during the week and on Saturdays. Because we are a faith-based company, we do not have training on Sundays.
Our primary instructor is a TCOLE firearms, rifle, and red dot certified instructor. He is also an NRA pistol and range safety officer. He also has taught Texas police oifficers to better their skills on the street.
We offer large classes for all occasions, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, birthdays, and date day for couples. We also offer private training for students who prefer one-on-one instruction.
We have a private range. No standing in line, and safer than going to a public range.

How we can help you.
We offer basic pistol, intermediate pistol, advanced, and master pistol courses. Our instructors also teach an introductory and patrol AR-15 class. We also offer a low-light class for pistols and rifles. If you decide to put a red dot on your pistol, please take a class from us.
Church Security Training
We offer range training and force-on-force training for churches, large and small. We assess how good your team shoots and recommend training to help your team perform better in active shooter events.
Police Department Training
We are TCOLE-certified firearms instructors.
Why we train. Shooting is a perishable skill
Shooting is generally considered a perishable skill. This means that without regular practice, your accuracy, speed, and overall proficiency will decline over time.
Several aspects of shooting deteriorate without practice:
Motor skills - The fine motor control needed for trigger squeeze, sight alignment, and steady hold all require consistent reinforcement. These physical skills fade relatively quickly without use.
Muscle memory - The precise movements and positioning that become automatic through repetition will become less reliable as time passes without practice.
Mental aspects - Concentration, breathing control, and the ability to manage stress or excitement during shooting also need regular maintenance.
Speed and fluency - Even if you can still hit targets after a break, you'll likely be slower and less smooth in your movements.
The rate of skill decay varies by individual and the specific shooting discipline, but most experienced shooters notice some deterioration after just a few weeks without practice. Competitive shooters and professionals typically maintain very regular training schedules for this reason.
However, shooting isn't entirely perishable - fundamental knowledge about safety, basic marksmanship principles, and firearm operation tends to be retained much longer. It's more than the precise execution of these skills requires; ongoing practice is needed to maintain peak performance.
The good news is that skills usually return faster than they were initially learned, so regaining previous proficiency levels after a break typically takes less time than the original learning process.
